Free Access to Family Medicine Residency Curriculum Resource Through May 31, 2020

March 27,2020— As you’ve been making major changes to your clinical and educational practices to address COVID-19, the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors (AFMRD) and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) leadership and staff have been discussing ways to support our members and the family medicine community during this crisis. Effective today, we are offering free access to the Residency Curriculum Resource – to all family medicine residency programs –  through May 31, 2020.

We are hopeful that faculty can use the resource, which includes curricula for more than 200 family medicine topics, to deliver virtual didactics. Each curriculum comprises peer-reviewed, case-based presentations, quizzes, and facilitators' guides.

If you are not currently a subscriber to this resource, sign your program up for the free subscription at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/62CC55L. If your program is a current subscriber, you will receive a 2-month extension to your subscription. Contact Chris Pyle with any questions about your subscription.

Thank you for all you’re doing to provide quality education to residents and students during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Frederick Chen, MD
STFM President

Deborah S. Clements, MD, FAAFP
AFMRD President
