Apply to Be a Faculty Instructor for the Medical School Faculty Fundamentals Certificate Program

April 26, 2019—The Medical School Faculty Fundamentals Certificate Program is an upcoming assessment-based online program that includes self-led courses with assignments to provide foundational training for medical school faculty.

The Medical School Faculty Fundamentals instructor will provide timely feedback on assignments submitted by program participants.

The instructor must be (or have recently been) medical school faculty with expertise in scholarly activity, curriculum development, didactic teaching, and giving feedback. The instructor will serve a 3-year term, with the option to serve for an additional 3-year period. The time commitment will vary but is estimated at about 10 hours per month. The instructor will receive a $1,000 honorarium per year.

Applicants should send a letter explaining their relevant experience to Brian Hischier at bhischier@stfm.org by May 31, 2019.
