October 15, 2025—The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) is accepting applications for a new chair for the Faculty Development Delivered program. The term begins in January 2026.

Eligibility
Chair must be an active member of STFM who has leadership experience and a general understanding of the Faculty Development Delivered program (FDD). Preference will be given to those with at least 2 years FDD faculty experience and/or who have served as a past chair for the STFM Faculty Development Collaborative.
Position Tenure
The Faculty Development Delivered chair tenure is 2 years with an option for up to an additional 2 years.
Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Faculty Development Delivered chair include:
- Assist staff with keeping program topics, materials and offerings up to date
- Assist with on-boarding new workshop faculty members
- Lead at least one yearly FDD faculty meeting
- Track and report on metrics
- Help develop yearly report for the STFM Board of Directors
- Help with recruitment and identifying new faculty members
- Promote Faculty Development Delivered program at conferences
