Student-Run Free Clinics
This group is for STFM members who work directly with student-run free clinics. This includes faculty advisors, faculty volunteers and students. We believe that student-run clinics are wonderful sites for community service learning and nurture the intrinsic altruism of our students and faculty.
Objectives:
1.Facilitate communication and collaboration among STFM members who are involved with student-run free clinics. This may involve creating new clinics, improving established clinics, fundraising and research.
2.Work with the National Association of Student-Run Free Clinics to develop a student-run free clinic annual meeting at the STFM Conference on Medical Student Education.
