A significant percentage of family medicine residency training is done in the hospital setting. Residents enjoy both procedures and inpatient medicine and many family physicians continue post residency working part time in a hospital while keeping up procedural skills.

Mission: To improve patient care by defining and promoting the provision of procedural and hospital care by family physicians
