Deans Associated With Family Medicine
The group is intended to serve as a networking community for family physicians or family medicine educators who are serving in dean's office roles. The group intends to foster leadership development among family medicine personnel in dean's office roles and develop supportive services that might be beneficial to members of our group. The goals for the coming year are to: 1) Provide mentoring to newcomers to the role of dean. 2) Work to nurture family medicine personnel in Dean's Office leadership roles. 3) Help physicians work through their "sense of loss of community" as they move from their home family medicine departments to the Dean's Office. 4) develop linkages between the Dean's Group and the Bishop Fellowship.
