The Group on Behavioral Science serves as a forum for the discussion, collaboration, and communication on issues relevant to behavioral sciences within family medicine. The group is most interested in promoting the integration of behavioral science teaching within the total curriculum of family medicine education.

The Group on Behavioral Science was awarded an STFM Group Project Fund grant to assess the level of outgoing third-year family medicine resident satisfaction. This project will use a Web-based confidential "exit interview" that will be made available to all US and Canadian family medicine residencies (MD and DO). It is being designed to measure resident opinions about their experiences with the graduate medical education process.
There is also a new "Group Discussion" option offered through the Family Medicine Digital Resources Library. To join, simply create an user account on FMDRL and join the Group on Behavioral Science. You will automatically be part of the discussion list. Current group members can post to the discussion list by e-mailing forum-348@mail.fmdrl.org.
