  • Beginning residency and a PhD in Clinical Informatics
  • Professional goal: practice primary-care medicine in undeserved areas, especially in the rural Ozarks and neglected rural communities overseas
  • 20 years experience in software enginieering prior to medical school
  • Public advocacy and legilsative lobbying volunteer in Washington, DC and Jefferson City, MO
  • Worked as medical missionary in Africa and Latin America
  • Helped found a student-run free clinic in Columbia, MO
  • Volunteers as IT director for a global health non-profit in Chicago
  • Enjoys the Spanish language, ham radio, martial arts, the violin, mountaineering, and triatholons
  • STFM member since 2010
