Nicole Jacobs-Silvey Hired as STFM’s Development Manager

August 28, 2015—Nicole Jacobs-Silvey has been hired as STFM’s Development Manager. In this position Nicole will develop and execute fund-raising activities and programs for the STFM Foundation. She will also oversee grant activity for both STFM and its Foundation.

“As I join the STFM team, I look forward to working on the development of the annual appeal along with key initiatives like the Faculty for Tomorrow Campaign.” She added, “The STFM tagline, transforming healthcare through education, is especially appealing to me, as I have the opportunity to integrate my two biggest passions—promoting education while supporting access to quality health care.”

Nicole has extensive experience with foundations and the philanthropic community. She completed fund-raising training from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Bloch School of Management and has worked with Kauffman Scholars, an education program of the Kauffman Foundation.  

“Through my prior tenure with Kauffman Scholars and the completion of my fundraising training, I was able to build my skills in philanthropy, and I look forward to applying those skills to support the strategic plan of STFM.”
