Call for Submissions

Family Medicine is planning a possible theme issue focused on how medical schools and residencies have implemented and evaluated curricula about the effect of race and ethnicity, implicit bias, and discrimination on health care. Additionally, we are interested in academic medical centers that have executed programs to successfully recruit and retain diverse faculty. Greatest priority will be given to research manuscripts with higher Kirkpatrick’s levels of evaluation.1

Manuscript categories accepted:

  • Original articles
  • Brief reports
  • Narrative essays

Manuscripts submitted for peer review and consideration for this issue must follow all of our Instructions for Authors and be submitted into the journal’s electronic manuscript system by March 1, 2018.
