Take a walk down memory lane. Stop by the STFM History Exhibit for a glimpse of key events from decades past, present, and future. Browse on your own, or stop by during scheduled tour times to hear stories from past, present, and future STFM leaders. Tours are available on Saturday, May 6, at 10:30–11:30 am, 2:30–3:30 pm, 4– 5:30 pm; Sunday, May 7, at 11:15 am–12:15 pm, 1:45–4 pm; and Monday, May 8, at 11:15 am–12:15 pm, 1:45–2:45 pm.

STFM Annual Poetry and Prose Contest and Reading

Reading poems and stories to our peers promotes professional bonding as we share the struggles, joys, and sorrows encountered in the practice of medicine and mentoring new physicians. Bring your works (up to 5 minutes in length) and read them to the group. To participate in the contest, write about “A patient story or family medicine moment that inspired you.” Learn more.

50th Anniversary Gold Party

Don your favorite gold duds (or don’t) and join us poolside for cocktails and socializing, as we recognize our first 50 years and as we place a piece of the present into the 50th Anniversary time capsule, to be opened by family medicine educators in 2042! The celebration will continue in the hotel ballroom with dessert stations, a 50th anniversary souvenir photo booth, live band and dance party. This event is included with your STFM registration. 50th Anniversary Marathonaki/Foundation “Light the Torch” Run

Pledge/sign up forms will be available at the conference in your registration packets or at the STFM Foundation Desk. STFM Annual Business Meeting

Attend the STFM Annual Business Meeting to learn about key Society activities and present any issues of concern to the STFM Board of Directors. STFM members not attending the conference can attend the Business Session without registering for the conference.
