Note to Fellows, Residents, and Students:
There will be a separate Call for Submissions to open November 12, 2018, for research work-in-progress posters, only for fellows, residents, and students. However, if you have already completed your project, are interested in a podium presentation, or your work is not a research project, you should submit before the September 10 deadline.

General Instructions:

  1. Submissions must meet all the requirements of the proposed category. Requirements are category specific. Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed. View requirements.
  2. There is $25 submission fee. The submission fee is waived for members.
  3. Do not submit the same proposal in more than one category.
  4. Lead presenters are limited to a total of (3) presentations, in order to provide additional presentation opportunities for other presenters. Presentations will be scheduled based on lead presenter's schedule.
  5. Acknowledgment of receipt of submissions will be e-mailed automatically after you complete your submission.
  6. ALL PRESENTERS (lead and secondary) MUST REGISTER AND PAY THE REGISTRATION FEE. In addition, no honoraria or travel expense reimbursement will be provided for any presenter submitting through the call for presentations.
  7. Presenters may not use any conference presentation to market products or services; exhibit space and literature displays are available for that purpose.
  8. Every presenter (lead and secondary) will be required to have an STFM profile and must complete a faculty disclosure form indicating any financial arrangement or affiliation with any organizations that may have a direct interest in the subject matter of the continuing medical education presentation.
  9. For scheduling purposes, presenters should be available to present on all dates of the conference. Special scheduling requests may be considered, but will not be guaranteed. Any such schedule request must be submitted to Ray Rosetta (rrosetta@stfm.org) by December 31, 2018. STFM will schedule presentations by lead presenters, and will do it's best to avoid scheduling conflicts for secondary/co-presenters.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
