  • The New Faculty Advocacy Scholarship provides those within their first 5 years as faculty with hands-on advocacy experience at the Family Medicine Advocacy Summit in Washington, DC.
  • The New Faculty Scholars Award is part of the Foundation's initiative to develop leaders in our discipline. This award gives 10 new faculty members up to $1,000 to help cover travel and hotel expenses for attendance at the STFM Annual Spring Conference.
  • The Faculty for Tomorrow Resident Scholarship provides 10 residents up to $600 each to cover travel, accommodations, and registration costs to attend the Faculty for Tomorrow Preconference Workshop at the STFM Annual Spring Conference.
  • The Student Scholarships for the Conference on Medical Student Education recognizes the passion for family medicine and teaching in students. Recipients of the award are named STFM Student Scholars and present their poster at the STFM Conference on Medical Student Education. Each scholar receives free registration to the conference, a complimentary STFM Student membership, and a $500 award to cover travel costs.
  • The Training Award in Substance Use Disorders Treatment Dissemination is a yearlong training award of $10,000 (including $2,000 for a mentor stipend) to support the development of expertise in SUD through completion of a mentored experience and project focused on dissemination of SUD treatment that uses existing evidence-based research knowledge.
