Hotel

Room Reservations:

Since the conference hotel is now sold out, you should make your room reservation at the Courtyard Baltimore Downtown/Inner Harbor for the same rate as the conference hotel ($185 per day). You may make a reservation by calling 443-923-4000 and ask for reservations and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) special group room rate. You may also go to the hotel web site at www.marriott.com/bwidt and enter the arrival/departure dates and in the group code box please enter : stfstfa.

Airfare:

For assistance in making your airline reservations for the conference, please call Passport Travel (STFM Travel Desk), 800-417-2902. Office hours are 9 am–5 pm (central time) Monday through Friday.

STFM & Midwest Airlines Partnership

Rental Car:

Budget Rent A Car System, Inc, has been selected as the official rental car agency for this year’s conference. For reservations, call Budget at 800-772-3773, or you can make your reservations online at www.budget.com. Be sure to ask for convention discount code: U063655. Car rental rates for the conference begin at $46/daily or $185/weekly, with special weekend rates available beginning at $21 per day! Rates include unlimited mileage and are valid for up to 1 week before/after the conference.

Child Care:

For scheduling information and fees, contact the Marriott’s Concierge at 410-385-3000. Rates vary based on the number and ages of children needing care, and advance reservations are required.

Attending The Conference with Children
If you will be attending the conference with an infant and/or small child and would like to connect with other parents in advance of the conference, please contact Margaret Henry at 800-274-2237 or mhenry@stfm.org for a contact list of other families attending the conference.

Shuttle Service/Ground Transportation:

Super Shuttle provides roundtrip transportation between BWI airport and the Marriott hotel. The cost is $13 each way, and reservations can be made in advance. Call 800-622-2089 ext. 2 or e-mail bwisales@supershuttle.net or visit www.supershuttle.com. Taxi fares are approximately $25 from BWI airport each way.

CME Hours:

This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 22.75 Prescribed credit hours by the American Academy of Family Physicians. This includes preconference activities. Because some sessions run concurrently, no more than a total of 22.75 credits may be reported. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the AAFP and the STFM. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
