The Residency Faculty Fundamentals Certificate Program is a new assessment-based online program (coming soon) that includes self-led courses with assignments to provide foundational training for residency faculty.
The Residency Faculty Fundamentals instructor will provide timely feedback on assignments submitted by program participants.
The instructor must be (or have recently been) faculty in a family medicine residency program with expertise in billing and documentation requirements, recruiting and interviewing residents, scholarly activity, curriculum development, didactic teaching, and giving feedback.
The instructor will serve a 3-year term, with the option to serve for an additional 3-year period. The time commitment will vary, but is estimated at about 10 hours per month. The instructor will receive a $1,000 honorarium per year.
